A good program is a program that not only works, but is also robust, well-structured,
efficient, easy to modify and maintain, portable, user-friendly, elegant, well-presented,
and well-documented.
A significant part of the grade in all the programming assignments I mark is for
what I call "style" or "quality".
- For an explanation of what I consider "good" programming style, please read
"The Elements of Style" by Vikram Rao.
- For an explanation of the style marks in assignments, please read my
"Style grade explanation sheet."
